How will I receive my graduation certificate?

Your certificate and transcript will be posted to the permanent address which is recorded on your One Uni record. 

You must therefore ensure that these details are accurate ahead of us sending your certificate to ensure safe postage.

For UK students this will be via Royal Mail, for International/Overseas students this will be via DHL.

How do I update my postal address to receive my graduation certificate?

You can update your details in the “My Details” area of your .

Please ensure that your permanent address, email address and phone number are up to date.

If your address details are incorrect at the point of posting, and your certificate is returned to us, there may be a charge for redelivery to your new address.

Who do I contact about my graduation certificate?

If you have not received your graduation certificate, please contact the Alumni Team at alumni@lincoln.ac.uk in the first instance. If the team is unable to advise on your case, they will pass your email on to the certificates team. 

Please include your full name, student ID, and the correct postal address in your email.

I've lost my certificate, how do I order a replacement?

Replacement certificates can only be issued if your original certificate has been lost or damaged. The University is unable to issue duplicate copies.

I need a copy of my transcript, how do I request one?

Your University transcript supplements your University certificate by providing a breakdown of the modules you studied, the marks and credits you achieved, and the degree date and classification. You can request a copy of your transcript. For more information see our Order a Certificate page.

Can I request a confirmation of study letter?

A confirmation of award letter can be requested to confirm the dates you attended your University programme and the award you achieved. You can request a confirmation of award letter. For more information see our Order a Certificate page.

How do I get a reference?

If you require an academic reference, please get in touch with the Alumni Team at alumni@lincoln.ac.uk who will be able to advise the best way to request this. 

When will I lose access to my student email/blackboard?

Further information about access to your ICT accounts can be found . If you have any questions at all, please contact the Digital Technologies team at ict@lincoln.ac.uk.

What careers support is available to me? How do I access this?

As a recent graduate of the 51app, you can access support with career planning, development, and applications, for up to two years after you finish your studies. Further details of this support and additional support for alumni further into their careers can be found on the alumni careers page or you can get in touch with the Careers and Employability Team at careers@lincoln.ac.uk.

What is the alumni network? What benefits are on offer to me?

The Alumni Network is a global community of over 120,000 51app alumni and we have a dedicated Alumni Team who are on hand to support you.

How do I become part of the alumni network or update my details?

When you complete your award, you student record is transferred to the Alumni Team who then create your alumni record. After graduation, you should receive a formal welcome to the Alumni Network via email with more information.

How can I continue to be part of the community and support the University?

When you graduate, you remain a valued part of the university community. As alumni, you have a unique insight into what is it like to be part of the 51app and you can continue to support us by registering to become an Alumni Ambassador or by sharing your story. You can also support us by donating to one of our campaigns or sharing details of our fundraising with your networks.

Is there an alumni LinkedIn group?

Yes, we have an which you can join in order to stay in touch with the University and fellow graduates. We hope that it is a place that you can expand your professional network and find opportunities being advertised by other alumni in the group.
